Need Ways to Make Money Online? Here’s How I Really Made $2,005.26 in Google Adsense Money Online Last Month…
People are really searching for “ways to make money online” — so much so that the search term “ways to make money online” jumped from an average of 135,000 searches per month to 368,000 searches per month, according to Google.
If you need a way to make money online…
…first off, click the screen shot pic of my Google Adsense income last month for proof that I know what I’m talking about — then read and put into practice the tips below the pic that I used to get that Adsense income to increase into on of the best ways to make money online today…

Google Adsense - One of the great ways to make money online
1 - BLOG ABOUT GOOGLE TRENDS ITEMS 90% OF THE TIME…
…or as much as you can stomach them. (And watch out for the Google Trends list scammers who sometimes put false topics on there or link to fake stories that automatically start download stuff on your PC — I immediately shut mine off the couple of times that happened.)
Switching my mindset from blogging about the topics I wanted to write about — or what I thought people were interested in reading about — to mainly blogging about what people were actually searching for each day on Google Trends list was a “Eureka!” moment for me.
Yes, we can still blog ad naseum about the things that get us going — but one way to try and get a great boost in traffic to your site is to hone in on the proof you have of the topics people are literally searching for — Google Trends — and post about those topics. Try to hit about 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 of them a day, if you have time, and watch your traffic (and therefore your income, usually) increase.
2 - BUT NOT JUST ANY GOOGLE TRENDS ITEM…
Try and pick the Google Trends items that don’t have too much written about them already — especially by well-established, well-PageRanked news or websites that are better placed than yours.
Not to say that you can’t out-SEO just about any site out there (I’ve been able to get great rankings above MSNBC on some topics — more on that later) but it helps to write about topics that look more like this:

Make Money Online by Writing About Topics Highly Searched, Not Highly Written About
You see how that search was
Peter Uberoff was spiking way high at Number #7 but hardly had no news reports written about him and the most recent blog posts were old? That would be a good place to start — a topic without much written about it, but with lots of people searching for it.
It helps to already know something about your topic — or to be a good researcher and fast writer to find out good info for your readers fast.
3 - OUT SEO THEM ALL…
…by using this actual formula to write your posts that have helped me get to the top of Google’s search-engine results page (SERPs) for many terms.
The h2 and h3 things you see are called “header tags,” something I used to wonder what the heck they were when I read other techies talking about them.
Even if you’re on Blogger or another content management system, you can use them inside your posts. Just flip to the HTML tab of your post (not the Visual or Preview or whatever your WYSIWYG “what you see is what you get” tab is called.)
Firstly, notice how I wrapped the “Need Ways to Make Money Online?” inside an h2 tag straight away? Try to wrap whatever search term you’re trying to get ranked highly in Google for, say for instance Peter Uberoff, inside a h2 tag right way in your post.
I’ve found that Google pays more attention to h2 and h3 tags more than regular bold tags — but still use bold throughout your post — and especially in the first paragraph and at the beginning of your post title — which hopefully your template has wrapped in an h1 tag.
For example, if I were trying to rank high for Peter Uberoff, I’d start off my post with Peter Uberoff at the start in the title and repeat it — like “Peter Uberoff Hot Search: Peter Uberoff’s Claim for Whatever…” — I’d repeat it not only in the title of the post itself, but also in the first paragraph, the first h2 subhead, and throughout the post about him, especially in the first paragraph.

One more amazing trick I learned is to wrap my labels in h3 tags - like in this post about Michael Phelps’ screaming when Jason Lezak won that awesome relay last night, notice how I wrapped the labels at the bottom of the post in a h3 tag with the same search terms people were searching for according to Google Trends?
Just copy the main search term and any applicable “related searches” Google Trends gives you in a h3 tag labeled “Labels” and that should help you out…
4 - USE »»»»»»»» IN YOUR POST TITLE…
BlueHatSeo.com was the first one to hip me to putting characters in your post titles or blog title that Google doesn’t strip out, but helps bring attention to your posts.
Even when I don’t get the Number #1 spot in Google for some search terms, I find that having the »»»»»»»» preceding my blog post titles and blog name in general helps people go a-clickin’ on them!
Just copy and paste that »»»»»»»» in front of your title, but if you’re on WordPress — strip out the crazy characters it places in the Permalink field before publishing as you can see how I did in the above pic. (Notice how the permalink starts with “ways-to-make-money-online” instead of those crazy characters.
Warning: Some say overuse of the symbols can cause Google to ding you, but I’m praying I stay safe and highly ranked!

And for heaven’s sake, use Custom Structure Permalinks if you’re on WordPress so that words will show up in your URL, not just crazy numbers — I believe this is why I’ve been blest to get ranking over MSNBC and other sites who just have crazy numbers in their URL instead of words.
Under Settings, Permalinks, choose the “Custom, specify below” radio button, and make the custom structure look like this:
Custom Structure: /%postname%/%post_id%/
Make sure then to click on the “Save Changes” button to save your changes.
This will give each new post you publish a URL indicative of the title.
…if you’re on a free Blogger.com blog like I started out on, or using a free Wordpress.com site, consider buying your own domain name (or get the first one free) combined with your own hosting thru a company like DreamHost.com
I use DreamHost.com and have been very satisfied with them. The few times my sites have gone down, Dream Host has been pretty responsive in getting them back up and running soon enough.
It only cost me 23 bucks the first year to get a free domain name and hosting for that WatchFreeEpisodes.com site, and I’ve added plenty more since then — and pay around 10 bucks a month.
DreamHost.com comes with easy “one-click installs” where you can download WordPress onto your dot com — and I’ve been loading mine up with Daniel Scocco’s Studio Pres WordPress Themes, which I find to be clean, trouble free, and pretty well SEO’d out the box.
6 - USE MEDIUM RECTANGLE, TEXT ONLY GOOGLE ADS UP FRONT AND CENTER…
…one of the cool ways to make money online with Google Ads is to put the medium rectangle ad front and center, with text only as opposed to image ads.
This is the best formula I’ve found for a great click-thru rate — some days near 5% — on my site about watching TV online.
Of course, it probably depends on the subject, but I’ve found that blended my ads within the posts didn’t work well for me. I may try it again on a different theme and see what happens.
7 - REMOVE COOL FEED LISTS OFF YOUR WEBSITE IF YOU WANT TO MAKE MONEY ONLINE…
Recently I used that cool FeedList plugin to pull in some cool feed news items into my sidebar. Turns out they were too cool!
What — with all that news about Paris Hilton or Obama or whatever was pulling in just as a supplement to my content was so interesting to my readers that they must’ve clicked on over to it right away!
I watched my Google Adsense earnings dip to 15 bucks one day — which bless the Lord — is really low for my sites. I removed the feed and went back to my philosophy of posting spelled out here, and did 83 bucks in one day the other day. Some days crack 100, I believe, and will see twice that with this site, I declare, be it El Shaddai’s will…
8 - POST FREQUENTLY — IT’S TRUE!
The old mantra about posting frequently is true. There’s tons more stuff I want to tell you all about making money online — so make sure to grab the rss feed above right to stay tuned for updates — but posting often does kinda beget a website that gets updated frequently by Google.
Of course I did all the stuff you should do with Google Webmaster Tools:
Like verifying the site…
Creating a sitemap using the free XML sitemap generator and uploading that thru Google Webmaster Tools, but I haven’t done that in a long time and removed the sitemap from Google…
And a bunch more things that I’ll write about in the future. But time combined with frequent posting, giving your readers what they’re looking for and great backlinks just may get you more traffic and more money.
Speaking of traffic, make sure you do this…
9 - DOWNLOAD THE EXCELLENT ALL-IN-ONE SEO PACK WORDPRESS PLUGIN…
…I’ve found the All-in-One SEO pack to be above par in whatever it does to get the traffic to my sites.
Here’s how I use it (I leave all the options at the bottom at their defaults) but don’t stuff your keywords and description too full, because I think that’s how my site about black people news and stuff got punished by Google.
