There are a variety of ways to make money online, but one of the most common ways is for a person to start a blog — for free on Blogger.com — where you can run ads, not on Wordpress.com where you can’t run your own ads, or their own dot com using WordPress.org or other content management systems and a web hosting company like DreamHost.com.
Then they create articles and content, sign up for Google Adsense — which gives the bloggers the code to put on their website, like you can see above. When people click on those ads, the webmaster gets paid a varying amount.

Those are just a few of the ways people are using to make their money online. Other webmasters sell e-books or other products and services to increase their online money making.
